Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Wings

In a large bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix well.

  2. 2

    Coat the Wings

Add the boneless chicken wings to the flour mixture and toss until they are fully coated.

  3. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  4. 4

    Fry the Wings

Carefully add the coated wings to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 6-8 minutes or until they are golden brown and cooked through.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Voodoo Sauce

In a saucepan, combine the hot sauce, brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, ground ginger, and cayenne pepper. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the sauce thickens slightly.

  6. 6

    Toss the Wings

In a large bowl, add the fried wings and pour the Voodoo sauce over them. Toss well to coat the wings evenly.

  7. 7

    Serve

Serve the Voodoo Wings hot, garnished with chopped green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
