Ribeye Steak

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribeye

Remove the ribeye steak from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Preheat your grill to high heat.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Rub the ribeye steak with olive oil, then season generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Place the seasoned ribeye on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your preferred doneness is achieved. Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Make the Orleans Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add garlic and shallots, and sauté until they are fragrant and translucent. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Simmer for a few minutes, then remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley.

  5. 5

    Serve

Slice the ribeye against the grain and drizzle the Orleans sauce over the top before serving.
