Oysters

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Oysters

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Shuck the oysters carefully and place them on a platter, keeping the liquor in the shells.

  2. 2

    Make the Sauce

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer. Stir in the chopped parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper. Allow the sauce to simmer for another 3-5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Oysters

Using a spoon, drizzle the garlic herb sauce over each oyster in the shell. Then, generously sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top of each oyster.

  4. 4

    Charbroil the Oysters

Place the oysters on the preheated grill and charbroil for about 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the oysters from the grill and let them cool slightly. Serve immediately on a platter with lemon wedges on the side.
