Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Method

Beef Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Add the top sirloin steaks and marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the steaks from the marinade and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

Slaw Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Slaw

In a large bowl, combine shredded green papaya, shredded carrot, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Toss to mix well and set aside.

Wasabi Cream Sauce Preparation

  1. 4

    Make the Sauce

In a small bowl, combine sour cream, wasabi paste, and soy sauce. Mix until smooth and set aside.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Preparation

  1. 5

    Cook the Potatoes

In a large pot, boil the peeled and cubed potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 6

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, minced garlic, milk, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.
