1. Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken breast and coat it well. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
2. Prepare the Vegetables
Slice the bell peppers and onion into thin strips.
3. Cook the Chicken
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and let it rest before slicing.
4. Sauté the Vegetables
In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers and onions. Sauté for about 5 minutes until they are tender and slightly charred.
5. Assemble the Fajitas
Slice the cooked chicken and serve with the sautéed vegetables on warm tortillas. Accompany with guacamole, pico de gallo, rice, and beans.
