Preparation of Kibbeh Nayyeh

Prepare the Bulgur

Soak the fine bulgur in cold water for about 30 minutes until it softens, then drain well.

Mix the Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the minced beef, soaked bulgur, minced garlic, chopped red and green peppers, ground cumin, ground cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.

Drizzle with Olive Oil

Add the extra virgin olive oil to the mixture and mix again to incorporate.

Assembling and Serving

Plate the Kibbeh

Spread the kibbeh mixture evenly on a serving platter, forming a smooth layer.

Add Toppings

Make small wells in the kibbeh and place the egg yolks in them. Sprinkle the capers on top.

Prepare Crustinis

Brush the baguette slices with olive oil and toast them until golden brown.

Serve

Serve the Kibbeh Nayyeh with the toasted crustinis on the side.
