Method
Preparation and Marinating
Prepare the Meat Mixture
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef or lamb, chopped onion, parsley, minced garlic, cumin powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Marinate
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 24 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
Cooking
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Shape and Skewer
Take the marinated meat mixture and shape it around the skewers, forming long kabob shapes. Make sure they are compact.
Cook the Rice
While the kabobs are cooking, prepare the rice according to package instructions.
Serving
Plate the Dish
Serve the kabobs with a side of rice or Habibi fries, a small bowl of hummus, and assorted pickles.
