Jambalaya

Method

Jambalaya

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Gather all the ingredients and chop the vegetables.

    Sauté Vegetables

    In a large pot, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and celery. Sauté for about 5 minutes until they are softened.

    Add the diced chicken and sliced sausage to the pot. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the chicken is browned.

    Incorporate Rice and Tomatoes

    Add the rice and canned tomatoes to the pot, stirring to combine.

    Pour in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until rice is cooked.

Gumbo

    Gather all ingredients and chop the vegetables.
