Prepare the Glass
Start by rimming your serving glass with sugar. To do this, run a lemon wedge around the rim of the glass to moisten it, then dip the rim into a plate of sugar until well coated. Set the glass aside.

Mix the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, triple sec, house lemonade, and flavored syrup (if using).

Shake It Up
Fill the cocktail shaker with ice and securely close it. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice. If you prefer it neat, you can serve it without ice.
