Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Mint
In a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker, add the fresh mint leaves and granulated sugar. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently muddle the leaves with the sugar, releasing the mint oils. Be careful not to tear the leaves too much.
- 2
Add Blueberry Puree
Next, add the blueberry puree to the muddled mint and sugar mixture. Stir gently to combine the flavors.
- 3
Incorporate Liquids
Pour in the white rum and fresh lime juice into the glass or shaker. Mix everything together until well blended.
- 4
Add Ice
Fill the glass with ice cubes to chill the mixture.
- 5
Top with Soda Water
Carefully pour the soda water over the ice and mixture, allowing it to fizz and combine without overflowing.
- 6
Garnish and Serve
Garnish your Blueberry Mojito with fresh blueberries and a sprig of mint. Serve immediately with a straw or stirring stick.
