Chicken Breast
Method
Grilling the Chicken
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. This will be your marinade.
- 2
Marinate the Chicken
Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2-4 hours.
- 3
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 450°F or 190°C to 230°C).
- 4
Grill the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Place the chicken breasts on the grill. Grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the juices run clear.
- 5
Rest and Serve
Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with your choice of sides and a side salad.
