Instructions for Preparing Beef Tacos
- 1
Cook the Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks.
- 2
Season the Beef
Drain excess fat, if necessary. Stir in the taco seasoning and water; bring to a simmer. Cook for about 5 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
- 3
Prepare Taco Shells
Warm the taco shells according to package instructions. If using soft shells, you can heat them in a skillet for about 30 seconds on each side.
- 4
Assemble the Tacos
In each taco shell, add a generous amount of the seasoned beef. Top with shredded lettuce, cheese, salsa, and any additional toppings like sour cream or avocado.
- 5
Serve
Serve immediately while warm, allowing guests to customize with their favorite toppings.
