BBQ Ribs

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture generously over the ribs.

  3. 3

    Slow Cook the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, bone side down. Cover the ribs tightly with another piece of foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.

  4. 4

    Glaze with BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush the BBQ sauce over the ribs and return them to the oven uncovered for an additional 30 minutes, allowing the sauce to caramelize.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven, let them rest for a few minutes, then cut between the bones to separate. Serve with coleslaw and cornbread on the side.
