Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

Season the Ribs
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture generously over the ribs.

Slow Cook the Ribs
Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, bone side down. Cover the ribs tightly with another piece of foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.

Serve
Remove the ribs from the oven, let them rest for a few minutes, then cut between the bones to separate. Serve with coleslaw and cornbread on the side.
