Chicken Strips

Prepare the Chicken
Cut the chicken breasts into strips about 1 inch wide.

Make the Batter
In a large bowl, mix together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Coat the Chicken
Dip each chicken strip into the wet mixture, then coat with the dry batter mixture. Shake off any excess batter.

Heat the Oil
In a large pot, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Chicken
Fry the chicken strips in batches for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.

Prepare the Potatoes
Peel and cut Russet potatoes into thin strips.

Soak the Potatoes
Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

In a separate pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Potatoes
Fry the potato strips in batches for about 3-5 minutes until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, and hot sauce. Stir until well mixed.

In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
