Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Grits

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 tsp of salt, then stir in the stoneground grits. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 20-25 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.

  2. 2

Make the Roasted Red Pepper Sauce

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add chopped roasted red peppers and black pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through. Remove from heat.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Bowl

Divide the cooked grits into bowls. Top with shredded turkey and spoon the roasted red pepper sauce over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley.
