Muddle the Fruits
In a mixing glass, muddle the slice of orange and the whole cherry to release their juices.

Add Ingredients
Add the Bulleit Rye Whiskey, Liquor 43, Angostura bitters, fresh lemon juice, and Demerara syrup to the mixing glass.

Shake
Fill the mixing glass with ice and shake well until chilled.

Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice. Optionally garnish with an orange slice or cherry.
