Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine the lump crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and green onion. Gently mix until well combined.
- 2
Add Binding Ingredients
Add the beaten egg and breadcrumbs to the crab mixture. Season with salt and pepper. Mix gently until everything is evenly incorporated, being careful not to break the crab meat.
- 3
Form the Bites
Using your hands, form the mixture into small bite-sized cakes, about 1-2 inches in diameter.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat enough oil over medium heat to cover the bottom of the pan.
- 5
Fry the Crab Cakes
Once the oil is hot, carefully add the crab cakes to the skillet. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
- 6
Drain and Serve
Remove the crab cake bites from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
