Prepare the Squash
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Carefully peel and dice the butternut squash into 1-inch cubes.

Prepare the Apples
Core and chop the apples into bite-sized pieces. You can leave the skin on for added texture.

Mix Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the butternut squash, apples, olive oil, maple syrup, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. If using, add the chopped fresh rosemary.

Bake the Mixture
Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the squash is tender and slightly caramelized, stirring halfway through.

Serve
Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your delicious apple butternut squash!
