Method
Prepare the Meat Sauce

Sauté the Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion, minced garlic, diced carrot, and diced celery. Sauté until the vegetables are soft and translucent, about 5-7 minutes.

Cook the Meat
Add the ground beef and ground pork to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 8-10 minutes.

Add Tomatoes and Seasoning
Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, red wine, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer the sauce on low heat for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Prepare the Marinara Sauce

Add Tomatoes
Add crushed tomatoes, fresh basil, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cook the Ravioli

Boil Water
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Cook Ravioli
Add the four-cheese ravioli to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions, typically 4-5 minutes, until they float.
Combine and Serve

Mix the Sauces
Once the ravioli is cooked, drain and combine it with the meat sauce. Serve topped with marinara sauce.

Garnish with additional fresh basil or grated cheese, if desired. Serve immediately.
