Pasta and Sauce

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bucatini or rigatoni pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Bolognese Sauce

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion, carrot, and celery. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are soft.

  3. 3

    Add Meat and Garlic

Add the ground beef and ground pork to the skillet. Cook until browned, about 8-10 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.

  4. 4

    Add Tomatoes

Stir in the crushed tomatoes and season with salt and black pepper. Let the sauce simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Suga Rosa Sauce

Once the Bolognese is finished simmering, reduce heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Allow it to cook for an additional 5 minutes. Add grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil, mixing well.

  6. 6

    Combine and Serve

Toss the cooked pasta with the Bolognese and suga rosa sauce. Serve hot with additional Parmesan cheese and basil on top if desired.
