Tiramisu Directions
- 1
Prepare the Coffee Mixture
In a shallow bowl, mix the brewed espresso coffee and Myers’s Rum. Set aside to cool.
- 2
Make the Mascarpone Filling
In a large bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip until soft peaks form.
- 3
Assemble the Tiramisu
Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture for about 1-2 seconds to soak them. Arrange half of the soaked ladyfingers in a single layer in a 9x13 inch dish.
- 4
Layer the Fillings
Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers. Drizzle half of the crème anglaise over the mascarpone. Sprinkle half of the crumbled almond biscotti on top.
- 5
Repeat Layers
Repeat the process with the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, crème anglaise, and crumbled biscotti.
- 6
Chill and Serve
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder.
