Prepare the Penne
Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Make the Sugo Rosa
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes, sautéing until fragrant (about 1 minute). Stir in the pomodoro sauce and heavy cream, simmer for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.

Cook the Shrimp
In a separate skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the shrimp with salt and black pepper. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque.

Combine Everything
Add the cooked penne to the sugo rosa sauce, stirring until well combined. Gently fold in the cooked shrimp.

Plate the shrimp and penne mixture. Top with slices of buffalo mozzarella and serve immediately.
