In a small saucepan, heat 2 cups of milk over medium heat until it is steaming but not boiling.

In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and a pinch of salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the heated milk, whisking constantly until well combined and smooth.

Stir in 0.5 teaspoons of vanilla extract and remove from heat.
Make Peanut Butter Syrup

In a small bowl, mix together 1 tablespoon of peanut butter, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 1 tablespoon of water until smooth.
Assemble Hot Cocoa

Serve the Cocoa
Pour the hot cocoa into a mug, leaving some space at the top for toppings.

Drizzle the peanut butter syrup over the hot cocoa.
