Method
Pasta Preparation
- 1
Cook the Fettuccine
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Chicken Preparation
- 2
Grill the Chicken
While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a grill pan over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Place the chicken in the pan and grill for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks. Remove from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Alfredo Sauce Preparation
- 3
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Gradually add the heavy cream while stirring, and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Combining Ingredients
- 4
Combine Pasta, Chicken, and Sauce
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked fettuccine, sliced grilled chicken, and Alfredo sauce. Toss gently to coat everything evenly in the sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
