Burger Preparation

    Prepare the Patties

    In a large bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently and form into 4 equal patties.

    Cook the Patties

    Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, adding cheese slices during the last minute of cooking to melt.

    Assemble the Burgers

    Toast the burger buns on the grill or skillet. Place the cooked patties on the bottom halves of the buns. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, onion, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Add the top bun.

    Make Mimosas

    In a champagne flute, pour equal parts sparkling wine and orange juice.

    Prepare Bloody Mary

    In a glass, combine tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and celery salt. Stir well and garnish with a celery stalk and a lemon wedge.
