Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Sear the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the sliced mushrooms and asparagus, cooking until tender, about 5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add the Marsala Wine

Pour the Marsala wine into the skillet. Scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for about 3-4 minutes to reduce slightly.

  5. 5

    Combine and Serve

Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce and vegetables over the top. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
