Steak & Fries

Method

Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Fries

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Cut the potatoes into thin strips to resemble fries. In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.

2

Bake the Fries

Spread the seasoned potato strips in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

3

Cook the Steak

While the fries are baking, heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the New York strip steak with salt, black pepper, and rosemary (if using). Once the skillet is hot, add the steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time for desired doneness.

4

Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing. This helps to retain its juices.

5

Serve

Serve the sliced steak alongside the crispy house fries for a delicious meal.
