Ingredients for BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich

Method

Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Pork

Rub the pork shoulder with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.

2

Smoke the Pork

Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Place the seasoned pork shoulder in the smoker and smoke for about 8 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 195°F (90°C).

3

Shred the Pork

Once cooked, remove the pork from the smoker and let it rest for 30 minutes. Shred the pork using two forks.

4

Mix with BBQ Sauce

In a large bowl, combine the shredded pork with BBQ sauce and apple cider vinegar. Mix well until the pork is evenly coated.

5

Assemble the Sandwich

Toast the hamburger buns slightly. Pile the BBQ pulled pork onto the bottom half of the bun, add pickles on top, and cover with the other half of the bun.

6

Serve

Serve immediately with extra BBQ sauce on the side if desired.
