Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bread

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the rustic bread into 1/2-inch thick slices. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet.

  2. 2

    Toast the Bread

Drizzle the olive oil over the bread slices and sprinkle with a pinch of salt. Toast in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Tomatoes

While the bread is toasting, wash the ripe tomatoes and dice them into small pieces. Place the diced tomatoes in a mixing bowl.

  4. 4

    Season the Tomatoes

Add salt and black pepper to the diced tomatoes, mixing well to combine. Let the mixture sit for a few minutes to absorb the flavors.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Arugula

Rinse the arugula leaves under cold water, then pat them dry with a paper towel.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Assemble the Bruschetta

Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven. Spoon a generous amount of the seasoned tomato mixture onto each slice of bread.

  2. 7

    Add Burrata

Tear the burrata cheese into pieces and place them on top of the tomato mixture on each slice.

  3. 8

    Top with Arugula

Add a handful of fresh arugula on top of the burrata-topped bruschetta.

  4. 9

    Drizzle with Balsamic

Finally, drizzle balsamic glaze over the assembled bruschetta for added flavor and presentation.
