Prepare the Sauce

Heat the Marinara
In a saucepan over medium heat, warm the marinara sauce until it simmers. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Cook the Meats

Cook the Italian Sausage
In a skillet over medium heat, crumble the Italian sausage and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Add Pepperoni
Once the sausage is cooked, add the pepperoni slices to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the pepperoni is slightly crispy.
Prepare the Vegetables

Assemble the Dish

Combine Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage and pepperoni, sautéed mushrooms, and warmed marinara sauce. Mix well to combine all the flavors.

Add Cheese
In a greased baking dish, spread half of the combined mixture on the bottom. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and Romano cheese over the mixture. Add the remaining mixture on top, followed by the rest of the mozzarella and Romano cheese.

Bake the Dish
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the assembled dish in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish and Serve

Add Fresh Basil
Once out of the oven, let the dish cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
