Method

For the Ribeye Steak

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Take the ribeye steaks out of the fridge and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. This allows for even cooking.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Season both sides of the steaks with salt and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

In a cast-iron skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steaks and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Adjust the time for your desired doneness.

For the Garlic Mashed Potatoes

  1. 4

    Boil the Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into quarters. Place them in a pot of salted water and bring to a boil. Cook until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 5

    Prepare the Garlic

While the potatoes are boiling, peel the garlic cloves and add them to the pot with the potatoes for the last 10 minutes of cooking.

  3. 6

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and garlic, then return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

For the Herb Butter

  1. 7

    Combine Ingredients

In a bowl, mix softened butter with chopped parsley, thyme, and minced garlic until well combined.

  2. 8

    Chill

Transfer the herb butter to a piece of parchment paper, roll it into a log shape, and chill in the fridge until firm.

For the Vegetables

  1. 9

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and chop the mixed vegetables into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 10

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the vegetables and sauté until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
