Grilled Pears

Candied Pecans

Salad Base

Pomegranate Vinaigrette

Method

Grilling Pears

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pears

Slice the pears in half and remove the core. Brush the cut sides with olive oil and sprinkle with cinnamon.

  2. 2

    Grill the Pears

Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat. Place the pears cut side down on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes until grill marks appear and the pears are tender. Remove from the grill and set aside.

Making Candied Pecans

  1. 3

    Prepare the Pecans

In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the pecans and brown sugar, stirring constantly until the sugar has melted and the pecans are coated. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt.

  2. 4

    Cool the Pecans

Spread the candied pecans onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and allow to cool completely.

Assembling the Salad

  1. 5

    Combine Salad Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, crumbled feta cheese, and pomegranate seeds.

  2. 6

    Add Grilled Pears

Slice the grilled pears and add them to the salad mixture.

  3. 7

    Top with Candied Pecans

Sprinkle the cooled candied pecans over the salad.

Making Pomegranate Vinaigrette

  1. 8

    Combine Vinaigrette Ingredients

In a bowl or jar, mix together the pomegranate juice, olive oil, honey, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Whisk or shake until well combined.

  2. 9

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the pomegranate vinaigrette over the salad just before serving and toss gently to combine.
