Method

Preparation of Pasta

  1. 1

    Cook the Rigatoni

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the rigatoni and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 10-12 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Sauce Preparation

  1. 2

    Prepare the Butter Sauce

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat until melted and combined. Stir in the cracked black pepper and red pepper flakes, allowing them to infuse the oil for about 2 minutes.

Combine Ingredients

  1. 3

    Mix Pasta with Sauce

Add the cooked rigatoni to the skillet with the butter sauce. Toss well to ensure the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce.

Add Cheese

  1. 4

    Incorporate Cheeses

Lower the heat and add the mozzarella and romano cheese to the pasta. Stir until the cheese melts and is well combined, about 2-3 minutes.

Cooking Protein (Optional)

  1. 5

    Cook Your Protein

If using salmon, chicken, or shrimp, cook your choice of protein separately. For salmon, season and pan-sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side. For chicken, cook until no longer pink, about 6-7 minutes per side. For shrimp, sauté for about 2-3 minutes until they are pink and opaque. Then, slice or leave whole and add to the pasta mixture.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve Hot

Plate the hot rigatoni and protein combination, garnishing with additional cracked black pepper and red pepper flakes if desired. Enjoy your Hot and Naked dish!
