Method
Burger Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Garlic Aioli
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well until smooth. Adjust salt to taste. Refrigerate until ready to use.
- 2
Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove from heat and place on paper towels to drain excess fat.
- 3
Form the Patties
In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt and black pepper until well combined. Divide the mixture into two equal parts and form into patties, about 1 inch thick.
- 4
Cook the Patties
Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and add a slice of provolone cheese on top. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the patties reach your desired doneness.
- 5
Toast the Brioche Buns
While the patties are cooking, split the brioche buns and toast them on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
- 6
Assemble the Burger
Spread a generous amount of garlic aioli on the bottom bun. Layer with lettuce, a slice of tomato, the cooked patty with cheese, bacon, and finish with the top half of the bun.
