Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Whisk together until well blended.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined; do not overmix. Some lumps are okay.

Preheat Waffle Iron
Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Cook the Waffles
Lightly grease the preheated waffle iron with cooking spray or a brush of oil. Pour an appropriate amount of batter onto the hot waffle iron, close the lid, and cook until golden brown (about 4-5 minutes, depending on your waffle iron).

Carefully remove the waffles from the iron and keep them warm in a low oven while you cook the remaining batter.

Prepare Berries
Wash and prepare the fresh berries by removing any stems or leaves. Slice strawberries if needed.

Place cooked waffles on plates, top with a generous portion of fresh berries, drizzle with maple syrup, and add a dollop of whipped cream on top.
