Ingredients for Asian Salmon
Method
Directions for Preparing Asian Salmon
- 1
Prepare the Salmon
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper.
- 2
Make the Marinade
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, grated ginger, and minced garlic. Pour the marinade over the salmon fillets and let them marinate for 15-20 minutes.
- 3
Cook the Salmon
Place the marinated salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- 4
Prepare the Scallion Rice
In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice, chopped scallions, and black sesame seeds. Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 5
Make the Miso Vinaigrette
In a small bowl, whisk together white miso paste, rice vinegar, honey, and sesame oil until smooth.
- 6
Serve
On a serving plate, place a scoop of scallion rice, top with a salmon fillet, and drizzle with miso vinaigrette.
