Cooking Directions
- 1
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the tonnarelli pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a cup of pasta water.
- 2
Prepare the Sauce
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add diced plum tomatoes, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the tomatoes start to soften.
- 3
Add Seafood
Stir in the shrimp, calamari, and clams. Cover and cook for about 5-6 minutes or until the clams open and shrimp turn pink. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time.
- 4
Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked tonnarelli to the skillet with the seafood sauce. Toss gently to combine, ensuring the pasta is well coated with the sauce and seafood. Add in the jumbo lump crab meat and gently fold it in.
- 5
Garnish and Serve
Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot with additional red pepper flakes if desired.
