Prepare the mushrooms
Thinly slice the shiitake and porcini mushrooms and set them aside.

Sear the filet mignon
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the filet mignon with salt and pepper, then sear it for about 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove from heat and let it rest.

Prepare the tomato and garlic
Dice the tomato and mince the garlic cloves. In a small bowl, combine them with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil, lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper.

Assemble the dish
On a serving plate, arrange the thinly sliced filet mignon. Top it with the shiitake and porcini mushrooms, followed by the tomato and garlic mixture. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.

Serve immediately, drizzled with more olive oil if desired.
