Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Biscuits

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the pimento cheese and milk until a dough forms. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

  2. 2

    Cook the Sausage and Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. In the same skillet, add the sausage links and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Grits

In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Stir in the grits and reduce the heat to low. Cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once cooked, stir in pepper jack cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. 4

    Cook the Eggs

In the same skillet used for the bacon and sausage, crack in the eggs, cooking them to your preference (fried, scrambled, etc.).

  5. 5

    Cook the Breakfast Potatoes

In a separate pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced breakfast potatoes and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until golden and crispy, about 15-20 minutes.

  6. 6

    Serve

On a plate, serve the eggs, bacon, sausage, pimento cheese drop biscuits, and either pepper jack grits or breakfast potatoes.
