Avocado

  1. 1

    Prepare Avocados

Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.

  2. 2

    Mash Avocado

Mash the avocado with a fork until smooth.

  3. 3

    Season Avocado

Add lime juice, salt, and pepper to the mashed avocado and mix until well combined.

Bacon Jam

  1. 4

    Cook Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  2. 5

    Cook Onions

In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and cook until soft and translucent.

  3. 6

    Combine Ingredients

Add the cooked bacon back to the skillet along with brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and black pepper.

  4. 7

    Simmer Bacon Jam

Simmer the mixture on low heat for about 20 minutes until it thickens. Stir occasionally.

  5. 8

    Cool Bacon Jam

Once thickened, remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.

Caramelized Mushrooms

    Melt Butter

In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

  2. 10

    Heat Oil

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-low heat.

  2. 13

    Caramelize Onions

Add thinly sliced onions and salt. Cook slowly, stirring occasionally, until the onions are caramelized, about 30-40 minutes.

  3. 14

    Add Balsamic Vinegar

Stir in balsamic vinegar and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Jalapeños

  1. 15

    Prepare Jalapeños

Slice the jalapeños, removing seeds if desired for less heat.

  2. 16
