Method

Chicken Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Start by tenderizing the boneless chicken breasts to an even thickness. This ensures they cook evenly.

  2. 2

    Breading Process

Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour mixed with salt and pepper, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.

  3. 3

    Fry the Chicken

Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully place the breaded chicken breasts in the oil. Fry for about 5-7 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Hot Honey Sauce Preparation

  1. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a small saucepan over low heat, combine honey, red pepper flakes, and apple cider vinegar. Stir until well mixed.

  2. 5

    Heat the Sauce

Allow the sauce to simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through. Remove from heat and set aside.

Wrap Assembly

  1. 6

    Slice the Chicken

Once the chicken is cool enough to handle, slice it into strips.

  2. 7

    Assemble the Wrap

On a chipotle tortilla, layer shredded iceberg lettuce, shredded carrots, sliced chicken, jalapenos, cheddar jack cheese, and drizzle with hot honey sauce.

  3. 8

    Wrap it Up

Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it tightly from the bottom to the top. Slice in half if desired.
