Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Dough

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface until it reaches a 12-inch diameter. Transfer the dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet.

  2. 2

    Add Marinara Sauce

Spread a generous layer of marinara sauce over the rolled-out pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese and Pepperoni

Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the marinara sauce. Then, layer the aged pepperoni slices on top of the cheese.

  4. 4

    Season and Drizzle

Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Drizzle a tablespoon of olive oil over the toppings.

  5. 5

    Bake the Pizza

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and the crust is golden brown.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Remove the pizza from the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, and let it cool for a minute before slicing. Serve hot and enjoy!
