Tuna Steak and Accompaniments

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tuna Steak

Rub the tuna steaks with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides. Let them marinate for about 10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Vegetables

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Toss the mixed vegetables with a drizzle of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Grill the vegetables for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until tender and slightly charred.

  3. 3

    Cook the Pasta

In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Marinara

In a small saucepan, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat until warmed through.

  5. 5

    Grill the Tuna

On the grill, cook the tuna steaks for about 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time for desired doneness.

  6. 6

    Serve

On each plate, serve a tuna steak along with a generous portion of grilled vegetables and pasta marinara. Garnish with fresh basil.
