Method

Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute). Add the corn kernels and cook for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the blue crab meat, parsley, basil, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

  2. 2

    Stuff the Cannelloni

Using a piping bag or a small spoon, carefully fill each cannelloni shell with the crab and corn mixture. Place the filled cannelloni in a baking dish.

  3. 3

    Make the Cream Sauce

In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, grappa, salt, and pepper. Heat over medium heat until the sauce thickens slightly, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in half of the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.

  4. 4

    Bake the Cannelloni

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Pour the cream sauce over the stuffed cannelloni, ensuring they are well covered. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm, garnished with additional herbs if desired.
