Burger Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Beef Patties
Divide the Brandt Prime Beef into 4 equal portions, shaping each portion into a ball. Make a slight indent in the center of each ball to help them cook evenly.
- 2
Cook the Patties
Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the beef balls onto the surface and immediately smash them down with a spatula until they are about 1/2 inch thick. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until a crust forms.
- 3
Add Cheese
Flip the patties and immediately place a slice of American cheese on each one. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- 4
Prepare the Vegetables
While the patties are cooking, wash and dry the lettuce leaves. Slice the onion into thin rings.
- 5
Assemble the Burger
On the bottom half of a toasted burger bun, layer the lettuce, followed by the cooked beef patty with melted cheese, dill pickle slices, and onion rings. Drizzle with your favorite special sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.
