Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Brussels Sprouts

Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half. Rinse under cold water and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the bacon slices and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Once cooked, remove bacon from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess fat. Reserve some bacon grease in the skillet.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Brussels Sprouts

In the same skillet with reserved bacon grease, add the Brussels sprouts. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are golden brown and tender. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  4. 4

    Cook the Kurobuta Pork Chop

Season the Kurobuta pork chop with salt, black pepper, and fresh thyme. In the same skillet, add olive oil and heat over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork chop and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  5. 5

    Combine and Serve

Once the pork chop is cooked, remove from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. On a serving plate, arrange the sautéed Brussels sprouts and crumble the cooked bacon over the top. Slice the pork chop and place it alongside the Brussels sprouts. Drizzle pork glace over the pork chop and serve immediately.
