Directions to Prepare Bone Marrow Fried Rice

1. Prepare the Sushi Rice

Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook the rice according to package instructions and let it cool.

2. Prepare the Pineapple Cucumber Salad

Dice the pineapple and cucumber into small cubes. Toss them together in a bowl and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.

3. Cook the Bone Marrow

In a skillet over medium heat, add the vegetable oil and the bone marrow. Sauté until the marrow is melted and bubbly, about 5-7 minutes.

4. Fry the Rice

Add the cooked sushi rice to the skillet with the bone marrow. Stir in the sweet soy sauce, and cook for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5. Prepare the Perfect Egg

In a separate pan, fry the eggs sunny side up until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny.

6. Assemble the Dish

Serve the fried rice topped with the pineapple cucumber salad, a sprinkle of nori komi furikake, and a fried egg on top. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
