Preparation of Coffee Mixture

Brew the Coffee
Prepare 300 ml of strong espresso coffee. Allow it to cool to room temperature.

Add Liqueur
If using, stir in 50 ml of coffee liqueur into the cooled espresso. Set aside.
Preparing the Cream Layer

Mix Mascarpone and Sugar
In a mixing bowl, combine 500 grams of mascarpone cheese with 100 grams of granulated sugar. Mix until smooth.

Whip the Cream
In a separate bowl, whip 200 ml of heavy cream until soft peaks form.

Combine Mixtures
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined and smooth.
Assembling the Tiramisu

Soak the Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

Layer the Ingredients
In a rectangular dish, place a layer of soaked ladyfingers at the bottom. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture on top.

Repeat Layers
Add another layer of soaked ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture.

Chill
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Dust with Cocoa Powder
Before serving, dust the top with 30 grams of cocoa powder using a fine sieve.
