Method

Preparation of Coffee Mixture

  1. 1

    Brew the Coffee

Prepare 300 ml of strong espresso coffee. Allow it to cool to room temperature.

  2. 2

    Add Liqueur

If using, stir in 50 ml of coffee liqueur into the cooled espresso. Set aside.

Preparing the Cream Layer

  1. 3

    Mix Mascarpone and Sugar

In a mixing bowl, combine 500 grams of mascarpone cheese with 100 grams of granulated sugar. Mix until smooth.

  2. 4

    Whip the Cream

In a separate bowl, whip 200 ml of heavy cream until soft peaks form.

  3. 5

    Combine Mixtures

Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined and smooth.

Assembling the Tiramisu

  1. 6

    Soak the Ladyfingers

Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

  2. 7

    Layer the Ingredients

In a rectangular dish, place a layer of soaked ladyfingers at the bottom. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture on top.

  3. 8

    Repeat Layers

Add another layer of soaked ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture.

Finishing Touches

  1. 9

    Chill

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

  2. 10

    Dust with Cocoa Powder

Before serving, dust the top with 30 grams of cocoa powder using a fine sieve.
