Season the Steak
Pat the filet mignon dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

Sear the Steak
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the filet mignon and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let it rest on a plate.

Add Worcestershire and Broth
Pour in the Worcestershire sauce and beef broth. Bring the mixture to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes until the sauce has reduced slightly.
