Method

Preparing the Dip

  1. 1

Step 1: Combine the Dip Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine crab meat, chopped artichoke hearts, softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, lemon juice, hot sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and creamy.

  2. 2

Step 2: Transfer to Baking Dish

Transfer the dip mixture into a greased baking dish (about 8x8 inches) and spread it evenly.

  3. 3

Step 3: Prepare the Streusel Topping

In a separate bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, melted butter, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt. Stir until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated with the butter and spices.

  4. 4

    Step 4: Add Topping

Sprinkle the spicy panko streusel topping evenly over the crab and artichoke dip.

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Step 6: Bake

Bake the dip in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the dip is bubbling around the edges.

Preparing for Serving

  1. 7

    Step 7: Prepare Sourdough

While the dip is baking, grill the sliced sourdough bread until toasted and golden brown.

  2. 8

    Step 8: Serve

Once the dip is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with toasted sourdough slices and pickles on the side.
